BuTTer TiPs for CLUbbiNg KaKi

I TRULY MADLY DEEPLY PROMISE WITH MY WHOLE BEAUTIFUL HEART THAT THIS IS THE LAST BORING EXPLANATION ABOUT ALCOHOL + BUTTER + LIVER... I JUST HAVE TO BLOG THIS BECAUSE IT IS A GREAT DEAL FOR EVERYONE...

Now that we know how to prevent & cure liver damage (See my previous blog)... so let's learn how to drink more & be the '1 go!' person instead.

One day My roCking Dad told me this....

(Moi ar... tiam tiam lim jiu... ah si mai cui tu ciak kui nah teh seh liap leh gu iu lok khi...) ?_?
English version : If you drink oftenly you better take few pieces of small butter bar before you join the crowd to prevent from getting drunk ?_?

As usual..... I told him.... yala yala.. (LOSO) but never do it (eventhough it doesn't really make sense to me.. but i know my dad is almost always right about everything)

Until 1 day when i happened to tell a group of naïve drinkers .... every one goes....... Hahahaha simer? Siawla!!! what kind of theory is that.... (Same goes to what i said ' If you are fat than becomes thin than fat again occasionally... you are having a high risk of getting cancer')

OK HERE'S WHAT THE REAL GAME IS:

There is actually some scientific basis for the traditional remedy of eating before a drinking binge.

There are 3 ways alcohol can be metabolized (broken down) in your body, each depending on how much alcohol you drink.

The first metabolic pathway is when you drink low to moderate amounts of alcohol. There are enzymes in your stomach called gastric alcohol dehydrogenases which break alcohol down into acetaldehyde and other forms of energy. Acetaldehyde has some poor side effects in large amounts that assisting liver damage and hangovers, but it won’t affect your blood alcohol level or make you drunk.

Men naturally have more of these enzymes then women, hence their ability to handle more alcohol. (Logically because men have smaller balls)

The idea of eating food before you drink is to increase the amount of time the alcohol is in your stomach so it can be broken down without leading to drunkenness. Eating fatty foods like butter causes your stomach to further slow down it’s rate of emptying into your intestines. This gives the stomach enzymes even more time to break down the alcohol. Remember the effect of alcohol dehydrogenase varies with each individual, it isn’t effective with accessive drinking, and acetaldehyde can stil lead to liver damage inlarge amounts.

So this is what we can do

Drink Xia Ku Cao -------> Eat Butter or fatty meat ------> Drink Alcohol -------> Drink More Xia Ku Cao --------> Eat more butter or fatty food -----> Drink more alcohol ------> Drink more Xia Ku Cao *Repeating*
