Xian Ding Wei – The Spring

I went to watch Shaolin with Crispin on 15 February since it was a public holiday and we haven’t catchup for a while. This is one of the best movie I’ve watched so far since last year…

.:The movie Poster:.
After movie, we went for dinner at Xian Ding Wei at The Spring. It’s a new Taiwanese Cuisine Restaurant on the ground floor of the shopping mall. The restaurant has nice decoration and there’s quite a lot of people. It gave me a great impression on the place. However, ice-blender at the counter was a turned off because it beat the background music…

.:The Menu:.

.:Crispin and the deco:.
We ordered set meal. Each came with mini appetizer, soup, rice and the main dish. Basically everything was the same except for the main dish. Crispin ordered Sweet and Sour Pork and I ordered braised vegetable with pork… Ya we’re big fan of PORK!!! Hehehe. The Sweet and Sour Pork was quite nice but the braised vegetable with pork was bit too mild and tasteless for me but I think dad will like it.

Valentine's Day

I can’t remember what I got for last year’s Valentines coz I chose to forget it.. or perhaps I really didn’t get anything… I can’t recall coz it’s too troublesome to remember.

This year, was a dinner in Magenta 2 days before Valentines and a simple bouquet of roses but no gift.

It’s sometimes funny how men’s brain work. But luckily women are geniuses, we have the power to persuade for gifts whole year round instead of on Valentine’s day only.. *hint*hint*

Chinese New Year Trip 2011

This year, me & The Papa flew to KL to unite with the rest of the family except for Jeremy of course as he had to work and Corina for she had to go back to her husband’s family home in Sibu.

On the First day of CNY

First of all, I must curse my siblings for asking me & The Papa to bring over 1001 things especially the heavy 1Kg raw Kolo Mee & 2 bottles of whiskeys… Apart from that, everything went smoothly. We took 6.00am flight on 1st day of Chinese New Year so we can reach Kampar earlier.

When we reached KLIA, to my surprise Noon asked me to drive another 2.5 hours to Kampar and in total I was in a vehicle for more than 5 hours and I was really tired and hungry when we reached Kampar…

.:The crazy driver:.

CNY re-union lunch awaited us when we reached and here’s some photos taken.

.:Re-union Lunch Menu prepared by The Mama & Auntie Mary (Noon's mum in law):.

.:Makan... ngam ngam ngam:.
After lunch, we all collapsed until around 5.30pm, we went shopping in Tesco.

At night, we had another re-union dinner with wine… I loike!

.:CNY Toast:.
On the Second day of CNY

We went to Cameron Highland and nothing really interest everyone except for the breeze and family outing. Most of the farms were closed.

.:I took this photo :P:.

.:Dried Strawberries:.
.:Nice flowers:.
.:My aunt's favourite flower:.

.:Curry fish ball... yucks!:.

After Cameron, we went to The Lost World of Tambun but we just wondered outside coz it was quite unplanned and no one brought any swimming attire. ;)

.:I like this photo coz I looked really slim ;D:.
.:A group photo without Ing coz she is the photographer:.

The last destination before we were too tired was the temple in Kampar… the weather was so hot that I wished we have been home instead!

On the Third day of CNY

We had dim sum breakfast at Kampar before we went to Kuala Lumpur.

.:Nyam nyam nyam:.
.:I like this Dim Sum shop... it's the best I had so far in Perak:.
.:Official West Malaysian Driver... ishh...:.

When we reached KL, we went to Cheras to pick Ping & her monsterous daughter Genievieve and had lunch at Kim Gary with her husband and in-laws before we went home and called it a day.

On the Fourth day of CNY

We went on a bus trip to Melaka and it was a hectic day trip. We reached Melaka at 12.30pm and left at 4.00pm… There’s definitely no NEXT TIME for DAY TRIP…

.:It was very-very hot as you can see how the umbrella was glowing:.
.:Chicken Rice Ball... yummy!:.

.:Waiting for 4pm at Starbuck.. I like this scene somehow:.

.:Dinner stop-over at Seremban:.

On the Fifth and sixth day of CNY, I went to office for induction instead and I had a bad migraine when meeting up with Stephane at Mid Valley… bizarre…

New Year.. New Job..

.:Rabbit Year in the new office:.
I joined an NGO, Kuching office on 10th January and since then I have travelled 2 times which is to Sabah for training and to PJ Office for induction. Life has been really different from hotel line. I still have so much to learn as I am really not familiar with the projects that the organization is working hard on. It has been fun working with Kuching colleagues and they are all kind and nice people.
.:Pizza Hut for Lunch and Jen's sponsoring.. Yay!:.

During my first travel, it kinda felt like a team building. Getting to know everyone better and we had meals together. Here’s some photos taken during the trip to KK.

.:I didn't know it's THAT famous... ;):.
.:Lynn, Liza & Jen:.
.:Fish & Chip - Signature dish of Fish & Co... 2/5 coz it's sooo oily:.
.:Yellow wine chicken rice i had with KK colleague the next day:.

I am going to be on the move again to Jakarta, Pontianak and Kuala Lumpur end of this month for 2 weeks… I have been envying my friends who travel a lot at work and now I am in the position when the job requires travelling.

It's cool.. :)

My only worry is my dad and the pets. He will be alone at home with the pets… and Iwan has also been infected with ear infection since I came back from travelling. Dad will be sooooo… lonely when I am on travelling. I just hope it gets better when mum comes back in April.

The 28th birthday - 25 Jan

Every year, I get more and more unexcited when it’s near to my birthday coz last year at this time round, I had the lousiest relationship moment and it didn’t last for another month before it ended. That was why I was not in the mood last year but people cheered me up with surprises.

This year, I am not in the mood because of the busy tarts baking session and The BF is not mushy type and bought me a pressie that I chosed myself during KK trip. So this year’s birthday as usual, I didn’t plan for any birthday dinner or party. Sounds pathetic but it’s not cause birthday is just another reason to party and I prefer to stay calm at my own Zen and nothing is wrong with that. :P

The present I got prior and on my Birthday
.:Hoodie for the winterish office temp:.
.:Ang Pao from The Papa:.
.:Hand Bag from The BF:.

.:Bed Sheet from Abby:.
.:This is the bed sheet:.
.:A very handy and thoughtful gift:.
.:I love this T:.

However, it doesn’t mean my relatives, friends & companions will fail to find another reason to gather, chit-chat and party right? Here’s the birthday week event…

25th January 2010 – Birthday Lunch at Toh Yuen

.:There's even Yee Sang!:.
.:Tossing Yee Sang.. and the platinum bracelete on my right wrist is BD gift from godma ;):.

30th January 2010 – Top Spot Dinner with Abby, Lyvia, Effendy & Crispin.

 ::No photo taken... hehehe::

Abby gave me a bed sheet… So sweet of her and I didn’t get her anything coz I really didn’t have time to pick her a nice gift and I don’t want to simply buy anything… (Hope she doesn’t merajuk).
