Hangin out at Bako National Park

The journey started at 7.00am on Sunday morning. I drove to Saypul’s house park outside and off we went to pick Goran and Bulu…. We kind of didn’t tell Bulu where we’re going as in just call him and asked if he is doing anything this morning and he said nothing much… Saypul just said ‘Take your shower and get ready. I’m picking you up’

And so he wore a pair of slipper for a jungle trekking that felt more like a mountain hiking… We gave him a new nickname.. ‘Orang Gunung’ hahaha coz he’s superb… with a pair of slipper. Forget about Timberland, forget about Dr Martin.. He just needed a pair of slipper. Kakaka

The boat ride was great but a little expensive for my opinion… RM94 return regardless how many people’s on board. There were 4 of us and we paid RM30++ per person and then you have to pay for the entrance fee which is RM10 per person.. =_=’’’

We took the lihai trek route all the way of 2.5km? to Pandan Kecil and ended up taking the right turn of 2.1km to Pandan Besar coz it’s nearer and we were half dead except for Goran who is all excited about the forest and nature…. I salute his enthusiastsm but I was so tired that I felt like my soul is actually at Hilton splashing in the swimming pool or something. I have never felt so tired since secondary school’s bloody badminton training making me running up and down the staircase in the school and 15 rounds of reservoir park.. damn!

But anyway, since we’re there…. We just make it fun especially when we were going with Saypul aka Major Trojan… He picked up a stick as an imaginary machine gun and leading our way to the Pandan Besar Cliff… Every stop point, we studied the map on the sign board as if we're in the army (childish but that's what you do when you feel like you hit the wall and the only way to go back, is to use the same route you just took....) and him pointed where the direction we’re heading with his imaginary machine gun .. a stick. Every holes ahead on the floor, we will be notified…Parit di depan... Any pipping or pump found, we wil also be notified.. Anaconda di depan.. kakakaka

Overall, tumbs up! 4 hours jungle trekking.. tumbs down. Next time, just take a boat to Pandan Kecil with additional RM35 per way -__________-‘’’

Gadis Dreadlock - Skudap Skudip

Gadis Dreadlock was last played by Malaysian Band called Skudap Skudip on 27 December 2007... and last night, they played it again and I am really happy to hear that song... No I'm not the only girl with a dreadlock last night but there's another one... Only different is mine, is natural... her's looks waxy but really really nice...

Speaking of which, last night at Steven and Coconut Treez's Gig is also the 1st time I've seen so many dreadlocks LIVE in my life... I didn't miss the skanking part especially my favourite Malaysian Ska Band Plague of Happiness is playing their songs... Although there was a turned down when the organizer announced that Steven and his coconut treez are unable to perform due to authority problem.... (coz it was delayed from 3pm-6pm baru started....)


Steven and his Coconut Treez did not want to let everyone down and played TWO songs..... (yea two songs only) namely Bebas Merdeka and their famous Welcome to My Paradize... was kind of dissapointed though coz all local bands played like 4 -6 songs where as the main Band which was suppose to play for 2 hours only played 2 songs... Anyway, i got the chance to take photo with Steven and not forgettign coconut treez tooo! XD and asked Steven to autographed his CD... this i sthe 1st CD i will appreciate properly.. kakaka


For the organizer Mosic Works Entertainement and beign their 1st international live band performance.. they have alot more to improve. Oh well, people make mistakes and learnt. =)

And we walked back to Istana Hotel after that feeling tortured and exhausted..... Had a good nite sleep and today is a restful day. Tomorrow is the day I will have to find myself a good dress for my brother's wedding..... Time Square here i come!

One of those Malaysian Hero... No comment but it is a cool song from the Kuching Homeboy who sang 'Sui Lan Ciao' & 'LPPL' I still love their old songs though... One of their best. This one... not too bad but when you listen to a really good song, it kind of spoil your taste i presume?

Celcom Blackberry Night @ Boulevard

From the title, it is clear what is it all about. The title and the 1st paragraph above are dedicated to Celcom for supporting the local music scene and actually I was there to support United Kids of Oi and their new vocalist and their new cover song by Dropkick Murphys 'Forever' 'where is my slipper i wonder'. They did well as usual but the only thing I was surprise was because they sang I'm Yours for the 1st song. Not shocked because it's unusual, but it's because I've just changed my blog's music to the same song since Sat night and was repeating the song when me & Sherlee was painting the studio in the afternoon. It's actually a pleasent suprise coz i love that Acoustic, Reggae song!

Apart from that, i didn't know that last night was also a Blogger's meetup night at the same venue for same event. For the record, I am not in the Kuching Blogger community coz no one invited me and I like to blog as individual.. the way it is right now. As i don't seek for popularity of this blog, there's no need to promote my blog kan?

No wonder Silas from Evenstarr was talking about my blog and Nitendo Wii when he was casually asking for me & Sherlee to join the Nitendo Wii bowling... ehem... ya TALKING ABOUT MY BLOG... Saypul went laughing hysterically dunno why as usual but he is also one of this blog's proud reader =)... hahaha and I went =_______=''' and O____o'''. Why in the world would he suddenly talk about my blog? Entah sudah famous kah blog ini until few musicians are following the updates.... Check-check it's because of the meetup la.... Chey.... we didn't even know anything about blogger's meet up until they announced it later on the stage.

Anyway, it feels great to know that there are people reading my overly self praising blog and it's my 2nd time messing with Nitendo Wii after Suzi Che and her family went back to the US along with it 2 years ago??? I managed to hit 178points right behind the winner which hit 231points or something and he walked away with an Ipod Shuffle... damn! I don't know why I always got 2nd or 3rd in any competition.. Maybe being a champion is hard to maintain? But anyway, I've won myself a 2Gb Sony Walkman before from tHe Spring's lucky draw so I am not suppose to be that greedy.. joined the little bowling competition to show support right???... *click* for the story

Oh ya, STM was on show too. I love STM. but Sherlee was so hungry and pushed me into Sushi King.. we had a quick meal and by the time went back to the stage, they have thanked the audience... T_T I missed the whole show.... and the 2nd show i missed was Evenstarr because Sherlee had to go by 11.00pm... I wonder if they played the same reggae song they played in Damai last month =/

Oh well... since everything was so unplanned coz for all we know, UKOI was having a show, no one is to be blamed. Everything was played by ear.

I was just having a conversation yesterday over lunch about when will this event take place and how the dates were not on display at the backdrop during jamming session for easy info... When I had nothing better to do just now and was reading my own blog.. I know I am pathetic.. hahaha I saw a comment in one of my old post *click* and it led to more info about it.
