Run Fat Gurl Run!

Ok.. I watched this brit movie couple weeks ago. A story about a man trying to proof something to his wife... it's kinda funny though.

.:The Trailer:.

The point of this post is.. I am going to go for a trial run for 8KM... From Hilton Kuching all the way to Borneo Convention Centre Kuching with few other working commitee from Hilton Kuching and BCCK this coming Saturday morning exactly at 7.21am.... wish me luck! not to stop half way at Petanak and eat or something....

Why do something as carzy as this? Coz The Hilton-BCCK Dash for Charity is basically my baby i guess? Anyway, it is in the hotel's event calender and to all my readers in Kuching..... just pay RM20.00 and run for the good cause! Grab your registration form from the Hilton Kuching reception counter this Wednesday onwards.

Any further enquiry, please email me or you can post a comment and I'll answer you =)

Hi..

Just wana say the Hilton-BCCK was fairly well organised. Thanks. However, there are a lot of things you will need to reconsider if you are ever to organised one something like this again.

1. Always think as a runner when organising a running event.

2. Too many checkpoints and using only paper tag as proof.
- That's ok if runners are not competitive
- Im sure you'll get feedbacks from the your checkmarkers that the fast runners just grab the whole lot from the box or from the hands of marshall and just leave everything in a mess on the roads.
- handing out. e.g. ribbons instead

3. Everyone (the volunteers) must know what they are doing
- RELA team needs to be informed properly of the route
- ALso the marshalls handing out the checkpoint tags.

Any just some of my suggestions. But in the end it was a great event to have in Kuching.
