Oat Bran Recipes

Oat Bran is so hard to find in Kuching. I've been in the search to Boulevard, Everise, H&L and Unaco to find it and finally I found it in Giant. (Haven't tried Ting & Ting, Ta Kiong, Cold Storage & Choice Mall yet). Comparing to Oat Meal, Oat Bran is more expensive and the difference between normal Oat Meal or Rolled Oat and Oat Bran is the contain of the carbohydrate is lower and also the function of Beta-Glucan in Oat Bran that increases dietary fiber.

After buying the oat bran, I am now busy browsing through attack phase recipes and do what I can as some of the ingredients are really limited in the little Kuching town in Borneo... If you are planning to start a Dukan Diet and don't know what to eat and want to have interesting meals, check out the recipes for Attack Phase here. It's really not that bad.

Today I tried the tea biscuit recipe but due to lack of mould at home, I used saucer plates but it turned out just fine. It's tea time!

The beginning of my Dukan Diet

All my life, I've at least tried 5 diet plans which some worked well and some not. My fattest record was when I was 70kgs and the slimmest record was 55.5kgs. Apparently, now i'm standing at 60kgs after the festivities period. I'm trying to lose at least to below 55kgs and maintain it.

I met a lady called Susan who lost 6kgs in 42days and it's amazing so I checked out some website and I've started Dukan Diet since yesterday and hope to achieve success in 142 days.. Wish me luck! :)

Traffic Garden

This is a garden that makes me laugh coz' everything is so small!

When I was a little girl, daddy used to bring us there until one day the drains along the garden were dirty and smelly. We stopped going there since... It must have been almost 20 years...


Since we've always been to Friendship Park and seeing the same thing over and over again, I introduced Traffic Garden to Jen. So far, there's no smell, they must have improved the drainage system.


It's actually a place where the Traffic Club of primary schools around Kuching have their practise, exam and competition. Part of the schools co-curriculum.

Uncivilized

We're talking about NO PLASTIC BAG campaign and I am even taking eco-bag with me everywhere I go like a psychotic shopper and... this is an eye sore for me to see such an incident while driving to work!
