We got her the most expensive gift we have ever bought for our parents which is a 916 gold necklace & pendant. I remember I used to have a transparent plastic cookie case that I cellotape, made a small hole as piggy bank mother's day, father's day, mama's birthday and papa's birthday gift FUND. To recall it back, I was a brilliant! coz I also had a Milo Tin with a hole with a handwritten message 'Please Donate to Moi-Moi Foundation' of course that was a joke to make my family members to talk about it. I'm a natural comedian at home sometimes, part of it was the influence from Movies I watched, part of it was because I love to see people laughing happily.
Anyway, we had dinner at the latest seafood restaurant just 1km from my house on 17 May 2012. Ing flew back from KL just for that occasion. It was a nice occasion. :)

The food was OK coz they have just opened not long ago. Ling Loong is a popular seafood place started in TopSpot (Halal Outlet) and they also have another branch at King Centre which has the best seafood suits to our taste bud. For the new outlet, the first floor is still under renovation. I'll give it 7/10 and I'm sure they will improve after 3 months.. Pre-opening Hiccups!
Being mischievous since forever, I was kind of disappointed with all my cousins for not knowing how to draw an act to bring Ongako for a surprise dinner... I've told them what to do but they have done it all so wrong... hahaha can't blame them for being honest lah! :P
To cut the story short, a so called surprised dinner has failed to the maximum as Ongako was supposed to not suspect anything instead, she didn't look surprise at all... Anyway, we had a good time among cousins and my parents join the dinner too at Coral Seafood Restaurant at 7th miles next to Everise Supermarket.
.:The kids love to blow the candle:.
The restaurant serves 'NO PORK' menu but they have some exotic selections like deer meat and ostrich meat. We ordered the deer meat in sizzling plate, ostrich meat with ginger, Nestum prawn, sea cucumber soup & baby kailan with garlic. Damages done was RM168.00 including drinks for 9 adult and 3 children. For me, the food is not the best but under the 'nice' category. Service was 'so-so'.
Naturally, I love parties but i have stop binge drinking and often visit to the clubs. The most I do perhaps is visit to Karaoke Lounge once in a while where I can chat with some friends on personal or business stuff. It's still a good time to spend if you have some good close friends.
My birthday falls on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year so I have decided to throw a small party at my place with close friends and relatives. It's really a small apartment but on usual days, it's enough for 1 to 2 persons to stay in. So far, I haven't have the feeling to move in the apartment but I visit it quite often now since it's just 2 minutes drive away from where I'm staying now.
Here's some of the photos during the party. :)

There wasn't much photos taken coz I was too busy entertaining everyone at 1 time.. hehehe. For those who made it to the party, I love all of you! :D
Had a dinner with Stephen in Blablabla on 1st December 2011 to celebrate his birthday since I've promised him a month ago. As usual, this is my favourite place to bring people for special occasion because of the nice ambience of the place and not too crowded.
We only ordered the lambchop with black pepper, Midin Salad and a piece of Strawberry Cheese Cake since I am on DIET as usual.
.:Stephen with Lamb Chop with Black Pepper Sauce RM38:.
The lambchop with blackpepper sauce is more to the sweet side. I guess since it's a chinese fushion cuisine, it will not be what's expected from the normal lambchop with black pepper sauce but I like it cause the taste is just right for my taste buds although I only ate a few little pieces. T_T
.:As if it's my birthday ho.. hehehe RM12:.
I didn't take the photo of the Midin Salad which was RM13 or RM16 if not mistaken because I was too hungry and since the Midin Salad has always been my favourite, I forgotten totally about the photo. It's a mildly boiled midin marinated with olive oil, red onion, lime, pinch of salt, chilli etc. A little bit like how people marinate raw fish called 'Umai'.
Overall with drinks & papaya + peanut appertizer, the damage done was RM87 which was already expected anyway. For the nice ambience and good food, a little over price is acceptable especially for special occasions.
Every year, I get more and more unexcited when it’s near to my birthday coz last year at this time round, I had the lousiest relationship moment and it didn’t last for another month before it ended. That was why I was not in the mood last year but people cheered me up with surprises.
This year, I am not in the mood because of the busy tarts baking session and The BF is not mushy type and bought me a pressie that I chosed myself during KK trip. So this year’s birthday as usual, I didn’t plan for any birthday dinner or party. Sounds pathetic but it’s not cause birthday is just another reason to party and I prefer to stay calm at my own Zen and nothing is wrong with that. :P

Abby gave me a bed sheet… So sweet of her and I didn’t get her anything coz I really didn’t have time to pick her a nice gift and I don’t want to simply buy anything… (Hope she doesn’t merajuk).

This is a left-out post to thank Chef Shukor for the birthday gingerbread man for the BF. (This is because he totally forgotten the praline I informed him about due to the birthday falls on the same time as Christmas Lighting) Boyong one... 'Joking hehehe'

We ate every part of the gingerbread man coz it's very-very delicious and sweet. Something different to replace birthday cake... ha ha
Yesterday was my 27th anniversary on earth and this year, I don't know why i didn't have the hype to celebrate. No binge drinking, no birthday cake party, no family dinner 'said no to my dad 2 nights ago coz we ate few times together this month', even asked K not to buy me anything coz I really don't want anything. I just wanted to be peace and feel miserable. Yea... feel miserable coz I am getting old and I am not happy about it at all... My chance to getting rich is getting lesser... chance to build my career is getting shorter...
Plus I attended wedding last Saturday which I woke up at 5.30am to help up etc etc etc and on the night itself during the dinner and my battery was almost flat, I had a shocking news that my best friend, Ellen's mum passed away. I was exhausted and I really feel sorry for her and her family. Her mum was really a kind person. I remembered when we were in primary 4 and we were all excited about having co-curiculum activity for the first time, so I kepo suggested we should celebrate 'for no reason... just excited' we collected RM1 or more each from few students and we walked to KFC at Sarawak Plaza from Song Kheng Hai and we only have RM11 for 7 or 8 of us... ended up, we only have enough money to share some mash potatoes.... Ellen's late mum went there to check out her daughter and saw that we were so 'sia soi lang' and she bought a drink and a piece of Fried Chicken for everyone. That scenario stays in me forever... I wished I have a mum like that... and I didn't get to attend her funeral coz from Monday onwards, LP is on a business trip and I have to sit in on behalf for the morning meetings. T_T And so.... where got mood to celebrate la... Tired and down...
And anyway, first thing I woke up in the morning yesterday, were couple smses wishing me happy birthday and I do feel happy. Getting happier in the office with message on the glass by anonymous hand... gifts from colleagues, a small cake to share with everyone, a coffee from Frankie & Winnie, a bouquet of flower and wishes and wishes in facebook and smses. Even people that I think will never even bother to remember my birthday sent greetings and gifts. That's really suprise in life and made me felt like Christmas comes early this year!
It's not so bad after all..... In fact, I put on a wide smile the whole day :)

To Ellen... There is nothing I can say to you that will make you feel better but do bare in mind that you have bunch of great friends that care although we are always not around you... and sorry I can't make it to the funeral. Truely I am...
CelebratedSoon's birthday at Rush Artistry last night.... It felt completely different comparing to Saturday... Every saturday is so packed that you can't even breath.. On a Friday night... It's kind of empty.
Last year, were the same group celebrating Soon's birthday.... I shall say it's consistency =P
.:Lucky ass got a cake made and delivered by a girl and she left soon after that.... how sweet...:.

I think.. Last year was funner... coz he drank 2 deadly cocktails... 1 i can't recall... and the 2nd one was Graveyard served in a huge wine glass... coz in Rainforest, they don't have flamming...
.:Last year's scene.. kakaka:.
Yea.. i laughed my ass off... he was as pale as a corpse after he drank the cocktails last year...
