2nd day in Miri - Dance Carnival Tour 08

Waking up after sleeping for only 1 hour and a half, I am dizzily sending Rai to the bus terminal to catch the 1st bus back to Kuching due to the next day she will have an exam to catch in her uni and picking Abby to the airport to work. Suddenly I became a free driver in Miri lolx. I had to pull Brian to join me coz I might doze off anytime in the car if nobody is talking to me. Nasir is happily asleep like a big fat pig. =P

Breakfast in Marriott was fantastic. Except I wish they have salmon and more variety of cheese like Hilton’s breakfast! After breakfast, it is another time to sleep. Woke up at 12.00noon and we spent the day to Boulevard and Imperial Mall.

The later part of the day was Esplanade escape with Cbell J and met Connexion Gang with Kian there..:Nasir, Cbell, Aliciaks & Brian:.

And after that, I went back to hotel and fell asleep till the next morning while the rest were busy swimming because being a driver in Miri is killing me because it's very very hot and i got sun burn even the 1st day i was in Miri. lol

Ok where to start where to start?

This time the competition ain’t as what we hope. To be in top 3. Not even top 5 to be frank. If you want me to say that we were not disappointed, it’s a LIE but yet we are not totally disappointed because it’s just a competition and not the end of the world. Disappointed because our expenses were not covered by any sponsors and not being in top 3 meaning we are paying everything for ourselves. Why were we not even in top 5? Only the judge can tell isn’t it? But their decision is final.. lalala lolx Anyway, we were awarded ‘The Best Team Work Award’ for the team work we have. For others it might be a very small and useless award. But for me, it is recognition of how we worked together as a team for the competition. Learning new moves and finding originality in our formation without copying others.

Our day on 29 March started with picking up Nasir from the airport due to we are poorer than him so need to use a night bus that arrived an hour earlier that his MAS flight. (That’s a lie. He has to do a glowstringing performance for Petronas Annual Dinner on 28th night so he didn’t make it for our bus trip so he sacrificed more by using 1st flight MAS the next day)

Abby came out with a crazy idea and we just followed due to a boring Saturday morning, we should do something entertaining. Hehehe

After a painful check-in to Marriot waited for almost 2 hours due to the hotel is full and TYT is in house, we finally get to the competition location 15 minutes late and was jokingly teased by the organizer. *We seriously was not being late on purpose*

And so, the rehearsal was canceled due to the slowness of the sound system set up. It didnt came on time so we just hanged around Bintang Plaza and had our lunch/dinner there. After that, it's time to open our booth. The sales was great thanks to all tribezone product supporters.

The day ended with a Thai Bar session with Nasir and met Kian, both Shifter's judges and visiting Cbell who had a massive migrain after the hot sunny day at Bintang Plaza.
