Happy Birthday TribEzOne~~

Celebrating the anniversary is just like celebrating all our birthdaysssss for every crew. Since 8th November last year, my life has changed. Melbourne shuffle has been part of the thing that I choose to bring along my journey of life.

Our mission was to promote the dance and to improve the scene. Since Tribezone was formed from 8th November, it is obviously getting more and more other groups formed to promote the dance. Be it pro shufflers or not. Be it cocky shufflers or not. Be it underage or not. But this has shown that our mission has been a great success. In fact, it is so success that we didn’t even have to promote the dance so badly anymore. Our part is to support those that is working so hard to promote the dance and that’s why we always try to make it to any park shuffle or performance by other group. Not to laugh or flame them, but to be there and show our support among shufflers. I don’t care if they do understand our good deed but as long as we know what we are doing, that’s good enough.

The scene itself has changed dramatically. There are more and more quality music enthusiasts. The people that don’t listen to God is the girl or The Book is On the Table. The people that listens to music from overseas in advance instead of waiting for the music to come from Kuala Lumpur. The music listener scene has improved a lot but still the party scene has a long way to go… We need better talented DJs and the crowd that not only appreciate music but also the DJs. People should dance facing the DJ and not making a circles and your backside facing the DJ.

People come, people go, as long as the mission remains unchanged, the operation continues. 4 left without notice, 2 left with phone calls notification and the rest comes whenever they feel like it and do what they want to do. Performances standard has not increased since 3 months ago. This is a free dance group to promote the dance and support the scene so there isn’t much complaints but it somehow shows each individual’s attitute and many have learnt to be more responsible for their actions coz carrying the name Tribezone means carrying the group along. Whatever you do means whatever your group does. Yes everybody have a big impact towards the group.

Some people might not even realise this but I hope they do now… It has been a year we walked together and that’s just the beginning of the show…….

Last Thursday, we celebrated it anyway.

Two Shocking Truth!

First Statement - Tiamz~~

I can't believe that Albus Dumbledore one of the greatest wizard in Harry Potter's story is... a GAY =.=lll

Second Statement - I'm so cool~~

When I was in Primary School, I used to be fooled by my classmates Ellen, Aldrian, Crispin, Dominic, Eric and the whole class that the name my dad gave me NG KOH CHANG is related to "Bak Chang" a type of chinese dumpling or just plain "Ka Cang" which means peanut in Bahasa Malaysia and they even had a song for me which the lyric goes like this:-

Real Version
Bak Chang
Jiak Bak Chang
Jiak Liaw Bui Bui Beh Ding Dang

Translated Version
Chinese Dumpling
Eat Chinese Dumpling
Eat till you're so fat that you can't move

ok fine! i didn't get angry coz it's just too funny and creative to be angry at. Nobody can ever forget that song. In a way, everybody knows me as the famous Bak Chang in school. (Not to mentioned after primary school, we started to play around with parent's name)

That's why i have to make myself a name ALICIA in order not to be a Bak Chang or a Ka Cang.

But now i know why they have been convincing me all these while. They are evil! and just jealous coz my name is so Noble that the world named it for an Island in Thailand! I'm so lucky to find it out after being fooled and convinced for the past 18 years. Phew~~ Clever me eh?

Melaka~ Yay! Eat EaT EaT!!!

Before i post anything about EATING in Melaka, i would like to tell the world about the latest Event for Halloween. The Flyer says it all..

In Melaka, it was almost all about eating. My mouth did not rest for more than an hour munching stuff into my stomach

.:This is my favourite photo:.

.:The Standard Room in Hotel Melia Horizon Rm88 per nite:.

.:It's a basic room but no recommended for those that doesn't possesed transport. It's 5 min drives from the main town area:.

.:The Bathroom:.

.:My sis with a brochure looking for places to eat:.

.:And then she heard a man talking to her:.

.:He starts tellling us about places with cheap food and cheap spas:.

.:I think we know why he's talking craps:.

I was wearing an ApEk shirt that cost RM2.90 for the 1st day arriving in Melaka coz i think it's cool and cold too.. lolz. My dad was telling my sis i was wearing "Siaw Lang Sa" means T-Shirt for the insane. This lead to an act by my sis and the manager of the hotel. hahaha...

We went to A famosa the famous place which is printed as a historical place in my primary school text book. Ended up i found it so much smaller than it looks.

.:Family photo at A Famosa:.

.:Chris being romantic to Vivian:.

.:Dad being romantic to mum:.

1st it was the famous overated chicken rice ball at Jonker Street. I rated it (3/5) the rice was below my expectation. Having chicken rice at Joys Corner behind Parkson is nicer than that. The chicken was very tender though and chillies was also below expectation. However, the purpose to go to Melaka was to eat their food. So we accomplished it. The restaurant was clean and had the old day's home alike atmospehere. reminded me of one of Jacky Chan's drunken master movie. The service was good too.

.:The chicken rice ball:.

.:Make yourselves at home:.

.:Just like in the movie during the old days:.

.:Not very expensive though for a famous place:.

2nd food i ate was Cendol Durian. To rate it (4/5) loved it so much, it's using the durian paste exactly like the dodol durian, mixed with Gula Melaka and the ingrediant were Cendol and the big sized red bean. I only heard about it when i was in the car with Elissa. she told me her friend reminded her to MUST TRY the Cendol Durian. We walked to shop no.88 same street but just few blocks away from the Famous Chicken Rice shop, we finally found the place. The cendol maker was the only MOST unfriendly person in Melaka. Treated us like cheap skate cendol customer just because my dad asked for an Ice Kacang Kosong and requested to have a little cherry colouring to make it look nicer... That's coz my dad is a diebetic and he controls his sugar level. muahaha

.:Lot 88:.

.:From across the road:.

.:My Cendol Durian Rm2.60:.

.:Mum's Cendol Manggo RM2.60:.

3rd food i ate was the Pineapple tart. To rate it (2/5), i think Kuching's May Flower's pineapple tart is much much better than the Nyonya Pineapple Tart. Kuching Roxx my sock.

.:It's everywhere:.

.:My favourite.. but it became not so favourite anymore:.

.:Nice to see but not to eat (to be precise, it's too dry and too hard for a (melt in your mouth) pineapple tart:.

4th food i ate was Burger King's fries. Elissa was mantraing about Burger King since the 1st day we were in Kuala Lumpur. Now that she got a chance to try it, she got angry coz my brother has been saying that she was troublesome.bla.bla.bla. burger king very expensive so on and so on...

.:The fries... i just love it:.

5th food anyway, was the famous satay celup. My dad wanted to eat something more chinese so my brother called his friend up and asked about famous food. So satay celup we went after the 4th time my brother went to the wrong turning... hehehe I rate it (3/5). Not that it's not nice but it's just not my type of food. Imagine withthe claim dipped in satay sauce to cook it.... err...

.:It's a quiet street but suddenly got a shop which we have to queue up to wait for available table:.

.:Camwhore while waiting *Look at Elissa's face after being angry at Burger King XD*:.

.:Choosing what to dip:.

.:Pork Ears:.

.:Tiger prawn:.

.:Claim:.

.:Kang kung:.

.:i know it looks uneatable.. we didn't take those red siew mai:.

.:Pork intestine:.

.:Cheap eh? but i think the item in plates are RM2.00 per plate (marketing strategy):.

.:They will pour in spices and stirr for you:.

.:Then you dip you satay stick in:.

.:Hungry after the queue:.

.:And then you start eating:.

The last thing i ate in Melaka was chee cheong fan and a cup of addictive Hainamese Coffee for breakfast in an unknown coffee shop. Love the coffee but not the food. I thought it's gna have prawn inside but found out they only sell 1 type. The KL style without any meat.

.:This chee chion fan is selling like hot cakes.. but i prefer to have the Hong Kong Chee Chiong Fan:.

Finally... i've finished blogging about my family trip!

KL we shAll go agAin and aGain and agAin~~~

KL was as hectic as forever and the only exciting thing that i could think off were the free air ticket and free hotel room. Hilton KL Central is the most high tech hotel I’ve ever stayed for now. They even have a small TV screen attached on the vanity counter’s mirror panel. The service was decent in a way that the team were very professional but were just missing out the personal touch. I didn’t feel warm like home when I checked in… On the other hand, maybe it’s because my family and I were staying for free under complimentary rooms? Hehehe

.:Watching TV while brushing your teeth eh?:.

The breakfast was like heaven on earth. These were the things we swallowed on a sunny morning before we kicked start a hectic walk around KL City.

.:Waiting for the others to get their food:.

.:My favourite Salmon (4/5):.

.:Some dim sum (2/5):.

.:Pastries with white mold (4/5):.

.:Pastries with black mold (4/5):.

1st stop was in Time Square. It’s funny how the shops were still closed at 10.00am. So, we went to Sungei Wang and Bukit Bintang. After a hectic shopping, we went back to the hotel and had a swim at the pool. Brenda came to visit us for the evening swim. I love the poolside very much!

.:Elissa the Sakai at Time Square (Luckily she didn't wear Tribezone T-Shirt):.

.:From left : Brenda, mum, me and Elissa:.

We went to Bukit Bintang again at night… lolx. Can’t wait for the next morning’s breakfast though until my brother said that we have to stay over at his house that night so the next day will be an easier route for him to drive all of us to Melaka and so we take a family photo at the hotel lobby.. somehow i had a feeling that the doorman who helped us to snap our photo was not doing it willingly as he did not even smile to us when i asked for his help. *He was busy dancing to the tune from the open lounge nearby*
