New Books

I've bought some books in a great deal from Book Xcess at Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya. All the books are RM17.90 and below and a hard cover travel sketch book is just RM9.95! As I am trying to do something more useful than harassing my own facebook page, I now do have some readings to do for at least another 2 months :D

My Latest Toy

Recently I feel very stressed out with my hectic schedule and work load. After coming back from Jakarta and window shopping in KL over the weekend, I ended up buying a funny toy which is such a LOVE. I feel less stressful and happier already! :D

.:So I appreciate the photos more!:.
More about the model I bought with the Adam & Eve concept. I love the design coz it's so outstanding & artistic comparing to the usual colour choices. :)

Craving for Cake

I have been thinking of having cake from Secret Recipe since couple weeks ago and finally I had a piece of White Chocolate Macadamia, one of my favourite cakes in Secret Recipe. To my surprise, I'm not that into it anymore... doesn't taste as good as usual or perhaps I have not been feeling well and my taste buds are not that great. Hmm...

Permanent Eyeliner

I've got my permanent eyeliner thicken due to the first treatment was not satisfying enough for me as I usually draw it quite thick. With RM300 for 2 treatments, it looks according to my preference and I'm saving money for liquid eyeliner that can cost up to RM150 per tube.

I'll wake up without puffy eyes now! Yeepi!

New Diet Plan

.:The most recent photo taken on Sunday:.
Since I followed Dukan diet, I went down by 3kgs (at 58kgs) but it's quite stagnant now. Besides that, being an Asian where our staple food is rice, following a French protein diet is a pain in the ass, I've decided to draft out my own diet plan.

Monday - Protein Day
Tuesday - Protein + Vegetable Day
Wednesday - Carbohydrate Allowed Day
Thursday - Protein Day
Friday - Protein Day
Sat - Protein + Vegetable Day
Sun - Celebration Day!

Note: -
*To cut down sugar
*To maintain a 30 minutes exercise a day
*Chocolate/Junk food only allowed on Sunday!

Ma First Hair Cut in 2012

I've been complaining a lot about my hair coz' it's too short to be trimmed into layers since I got an Asian Bob Cut at Spinky for RM50.00 in September 2011.

Last week, I finally went to Vivia Hair Saloon... I haven't been to Vivia for like 10 years and the last time I went was when they were still in Sarawak Plaza. The owner looks older now but he still did a good job in trimming my hair for RM25.00.

The location is in the same building with 100% discount store at Jalan Keretapi, Kuching. It's sad because there's no centralised air-conditioning and the saloon is actually using fans. I felt a bit hot & sweaty but for the hair I like, it's kind of worth it although the atmosphere could be better.

Muahahaha

Ping will kill me for this.. There happened to be a toad in the toilet and due to some bad experience during childhood, i.e stepping on a toad barefoot, it's like a phobia when she sees one. So there she is standing on top of the toilet bowl and crying.. Muahahahha

Lost in the Jungle of Borneo...

The title says it all... Yes we were lost in the jungle of Borneo which is actually located in Matang. Hilarious enough for Jungle experts to lead a few of us into an additional 2 hours walk in the jungle before we found civilization. The whole experience was not so bad despite 1 pair of shoes gave up during the walk. So here's basically a summary of what happened that day in Matang in March 2012.... ;)

.:A very good pair of shoes.. just been awhile since it was utilized:.
It was supposed to be a Sunday Brisk Hill Walk to an ancient Indian temple in one of the area in Matang. Cynthia even told me that I can wear sandal or sports shoes. I was blessed with Adidas Kampung which I bought in Bario and something in my mind have made me worn that shoes that day.

.:My saviour Adidas Kampung:.
We (Cynthia, Ian, Jordan and myself) took our time with some educational session since Ian is a specialist trainer in environmental education. We learnt a lot from him. It took us about 2 hours to get up there. In between the walk, we actually discovered interesting stuff like a beautiful caterpillar, acorn from oak tree, mushroom that grows inside out and many more.

.:Explaination about Acorn:.
.:A dead tree with a dangerous big hole:.
.:An interesting looking caterpillar:.
.:A type of mushroom that grows inside out:.

When we reached the temple, it's beautifully constructed with a guardian, Kalimuthu staying there to take care of the temple. The view from the temple was absolutely breathtaking despite Cynthia blocking Jordan's view. hehehe

.:The view when you reach the highest Peak:.

.:Soldier of the goddess:.

.:Me, Master Kalimuthu & Cynthia:.

On the way down from the temple, we saw an interesting sign to walk to Charles Brooke's bungalow and we wanted to have a look at the foundation as the original bungalow has been demolished.. That's when we ended up walking for another 4 hours into the jungle without turning back. Ian lead us to a walk in the stream but there were not much water in the stream and that god it was not raining. At about 2pm, my stomach was damn hungry! To make the situation worst, there were leeches, a type of blood sucking worm... I was geared up with the Axe Medicated Oil ready to splash on any leech that got near me. Luckily, there was only 1 leech trying it's luck to get into my jeans... Cynthia was quite worried when it's 3pm and since everyone's mobile was still with signal, she made some calls just in case if we need help. Oh well, thank god again that we found a site where the villagers took the wood from and that trail lead us to the other way to go to the temple and we were all out from the jungle.

Despite all the scary thoughts I had that day, I managed to take photographs of interesting creatures in the jungle which we seldom see in the urban area. I just can't help it.. hehehe

.:The crazy sign:.

.:Waterfall:.

.:A yellowish crab spider:.

.:Wild Mushroom that looks poisonous:.
.:Cockroach?:.
.:This was our opening to be SAFE after all:.
.:A resting hut that resembles the Penan hut:.
After that, each of us drank at least 2 glasses of water (I think I had 3 glasses) in Ketz Kitchen in Matang Jaya and I had the Ayam Penyet... It's not as good as before though... My body took about 1 week to regain energy after the tiring walk. No complaint, just some impromptu adventure.
